Our Story

In 1985 Jeff Batton started a residential remodeling and building company called Batton Construction. For the next 20 years, Batton Construction served all of Northeast Ohio's needs when it came to home improvement.

Acquiring a Florida General Contractor's license in 2005, Batton Construction expanded into the Florida residential and commercial market. While Jeff oversaw this Florida expansion, his son, Jeremy Batton was put in charge of Ohio operations.

Also in 2005, Jeff's nephew, Ben Batton started a general contracting company called Batton Renovations. This entity focused primarily on residential renovations and real estate development. The company enjoyed success with several acquisitions and renovation projects in the Ohio region.

With the idea of taking on larger projects and with both companies wanting to expand their companies, Batton Construction merged with Batton Renovations to form The Batton Group. In that short time, The Batton Group has grown from six employees to twenty employees and have formed several strong relationships with subcontractors and business leaders throughout the community.
