Cool Spaces: Tenk West Bank building

CLEVELAND, Ohio - For one week in July, a nondescript former industrial complex in the Flats became the hottest address on the city's party circuit.

Corporate executives and politicians mingled as a cover band filled the first floor of the Tenk West Bank building with sound. Neon-limned guitars brought a glow to the brick walls. The onetime manufacturing floor masqueraded as a concert venue, a series of bars and a cabaret, rollicking until 3 a.m. while the Republican National Convention took over downtown.

Properties Magazine: New Face on the Bloch

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The 150-year-old Bloch Block building of the Cleveland Warehouse District recently underwent a $2.8 million renovation and rehabilitation, opening this summer as The Lofts of West 9 and providing new street-level commercial space within the neighborhood. Dan DiCillo, CEO of real estate development firm Streak Investments, purchased the 19,395-square-foot building in 2017 with the intention to expand real estate holdings into the downtown Cleveland market with a smaller mixed-residential and, specifically, historic renovation project.
